Start Throwing In the Neons

Today I went shopping for Mother's Day gifts. I have 3 moms to get to. My mum of course, Omar's mom (she is great) and his grandmother. I got my mum's and his grandma's gift down but I still have to get his mom's. I plan on getting her a handmade initial necklace from a shop on Etsy. Hopefully it comes in time :O

This is the face I make at strangers when they stare at me for being
weird and taking so many pictured of myself in public.

Earrings are from F21.

Earlier I went bike riding (and I fell off my bike :( I hurt my knee) so no heels for me today.
I'm wearing leggings from Target.
My shirt I'm pretty sure is also from Target except it's thrifted.I got it for a dollar!
It has to be a couple years old because I don't ever remember seeing this at Target.
Anyway, I like it because it's denim and I love denim shirts.:)

My purse here is looooovely. I love the neon pink, although you can't really grasp the power of the neon in these pictures. I got the purse at Charlotte Russe for 5 dollahs! Last one too! I've been buying a lot of neon accessories and clothes. So, be prepared to see color splashes in the upcoming posts!
I'm excited!

Check out my sparkly socks from F21.

MORE fuchsia lipstick because it is awesome.

Mature

MY BANGS GREW!
Yessss. Well enough for me to wear them to the side. It's a lot more comfortable and "me."
And now I look 19 (maybe?) instead of like 5 with the straight bangs.

Fuchsia lipstick, I LIKE IT.
Maybelline.
160, Fifth Ave. Fuchsia.

I'm rather excited to wear the hell out of these.

My shirt is from the UK French Connection (you already know) and I really do love it.
Super light and sleek (does that make sense?) and it has these lovely golden sparkly stripes throughout the shirt. Since Sears is awesome and was having some crazy sale I paid 4 bucks for it, so yes I feel pretty damn proud about that.
My booties are Steve Madden, I purchased them at DSW (basically my bff) and I've had my eye on them for a while. I was debating between these and the Jeffrey Campbell Litas. I had seen them a while ago at DSW and I ended up not buying them, afterwards I deeply regretted that. I looked for them everywhere else, at least online, and they were priced at bout 160 EVERYWHERE.
Yesterday though, I had this crazy idea that DSW might still have them so I went over at about 2 hours before closing time and I FOUND THEM.
THE LAST PAIR, OVERALL.
and here comes the best part..
They were only 35 dollars ;]
So obviously I scooped them up and took my happy ass back home.

Btw guys, this is the little lady who takes my photographs <3
Kassandy. My seester.
And yes she's 10.

SparkleNails

I worked longer shifts than usual these last two days so I didn't wear anything exclusive, just joggers and an over sized uniform. What I did do though, is my sister's (Susy) nails with craft glitter. I saw it on YouTube and I gave it a try.
Here's what you need: Craft glitter ( I got a five pack at Walgreens), clear nail-polish, some form of small brush ( I literally got mine from some drawer in my bathroom), a sheet of paper, Q-Tips, a filer (optional)

File your nails if you need to, or want to. Ya know? Whatever makes your heart warm inside.

Apply a thick coat of the clear nail-polish, do not let it dry. This is what's gonna make the glitter stick to yo nails!

Then sprinkle the sprinkles! a good amount over your nail.
Make sure to place the sheet of paper underneath to avoid making a glitter mess because that stuff's like sand my friend. IT TRAVELS.

Take the brush and gently press the glitter to your nail to make sure it REALLY sticks to the nail-polish.
Kind of brush off the edges to clean it up.

Now, put a thick coat of the clear nail-polish over the glitter. Once that has dried just give it two more coats or whatever you feel is necessary. Just don't do more than 10 because..well, that's just weird.

Finally use the Q-Tips to  wipe or scrub off the excess glitter on the edges.

AND THEN YOU HAVE GLITTERIFIC NAILS!
