Church Appropriate

Today was extremely hot and humid. UGH. Why am I not naked then, you ask? 

Well, because I had to go to church today for my sister's confirmation ceremony. 

It would have been rather inappropriate if I went over there in booty shorts, so I wore this. 

This shirt is once again from Sears. Another UK French Connection 4 dollar find. 

I love that it's sheer, and although sheer doesn't sound like something you would wear to church IDC because I did. It was simply too damn hot. 

At first I was a little iffy about the big bow hanging on my chest. I wasn't sure if it would compliment me because (believe it or not) I'm a little bit "busty" so I didn't want it to make me look bulkier in that area, but I think it turned out fine no? 

My shoes are knock offs from Sears (? lmao) and I got them a while ago. They're alright for 20 bucks. 

Earrings are from F21.

Oh btw guys I dip dyed my hair. This here above would be my failed attempt at doing an ombre style to it. :/

I promise (to myself more than anyone) I will try to fix it. Put some more teal up in there.

It's actually more of a magenta than it is a bright pink. The color just shows up weird here.

It also look better from the front. I'll post up a better picture later.

Yessss. Well enough for me to wear them to the side. It's a lot more comfortable and "me." 

And now I look 19 (maybe?) instead of like 5 with the straight bangs.

I'm rather excited to wear the hell out of these.

My shirt is from the UK French Connection (you already know) and I really do love it. 

Super light and sleek (does that make sense?) and it has these lovely golden sparkly stripes throughout the shirt. Since Sears is awesome and was having some crazy sale I paid 4 bucks for it, so yes I feel pretty damn proud about that.

My booties are Steve Madden, I purchased them at DSW (basically my bff) and I've had my eye on them for a while. I was debating between these and the Jeffrey Campbell Litas. I had seen them a while ago at DSW and I ended up not buying them, afterwards I deeply regretted that. I looked for them everywhere else, at least online, and they were priced at bout 160 EVERYWHERE. 

Yesterday though, I had this crazy idea that DSW might still have them so I went over at about 2 hours before closing time and I FOUND THEM.

So obviously I scooped them up and took my happy ass back home.

Raspberry Stripes

Hey guys. Yesterday I went out and did some shopping, for me and my parent's house. They're remodeling and well I've been doing a lot painting and stuff around here. Anyway, I actually just  had to quickly take these photographs right at the bus stop I was at, haha.

(Also excuse my hair, the wind always blows hard.)

I really think this shirt is very "cute" ( I don't normally like the term cute because it makes me think of kittens and baby toes) I love the way it ties in the back allowing you to show some skin without being too cold. 

I also like the color its very raspberry looking. YUM.

The shirt is actually from the UK French Connection at Sears (I went shopping remember? Brace yourself, they had a crazy sale, so expect a lot more of this Sears obsession of mine :D) It was actually only about 7 dollars. Oh yeaaah, and as for the shorts, they're thrifted, and I probably paid like 1 dollar for them!

Omar gave me these cute oxfords from Aldo for my birthday! (they are actually huge on me.)

My bff Lilly gave me this bracelet for my birthday too, I really love the chain in it.

Also, I have now made it seem like everything I own was given to me on my birthday.

I swear this just coincidental. 

Why yes, yes I am standing on a scale. I'm not sure why though.

Today is an "ugh" day. I am not sure why. I've been so tired lately womp womp womp. Omar and I went to the movies today, we watched 21 Jump Street. I liked it, a lot. GO WATCH IT! 

Anyway, I have this obsession with the whole "denim on denim" look. I just think it's great, I love blue and stuff so yes I love denim! The button up I am wearing is from the French Connection Collection from Sears (again, I know) and I got it for only 7 bucks! SEARS FTW! 

It's actually pretty big on me seeing it's an XS but I tied it at the bottom and voila! 

The jeans are striped Levi's jeggings, I swear I bought them a few weeks ago, and already they don't fit me anymore. 

In the morning it was a little chilly so I decided to keep the light wash denim theme and I threw on this white jean jacket. It's thrifted Old Navy, for only 3 dollars!! 

Sunday Bun

I don't generally do my hair and when I do believe me when I tell you it is effortless. So that is my lame bun.

So this shirt I got for 7$ YES! It's from the UK Style French Connection at Sears. It was originally priced for like 30 bucks or something. Now I know Sears seems a little "ugh" and "older suburban white mother of three" than "urban fashionable teenager" but you'd be surprised my friends! You just gotta dig! Now check this, the obviously fake leather leggings I'm wearing here are also from Sears. The Kardashian Collection (Kollection?) I got them for about 16 bucks and that's a tad bit overpriced for me but I could not find cheaper ones that looked good, regardless I was satisfied with these. The booties I'm wearing are wedges and super uncomfortable but if they look good they look good right? WRONG. I'm just kidding. I actually got them for 20$ at UO they're some form of suede and look pretty cool. I'm not big on accesories I'm not sure why so I usually keep it simple. These earrings were about 5$? at Payless! YEAH BUDDY!
